Superconductive ICT Device Laboratory

We have developed an ultrasensitive single-photon detector, a THz detector, and an integrated circuit operating at ultra-low power by using superconducting phenomena. Our unique research approach employs a niobium-nitride (NbN) superconductor, which has a higher superconducting transition temperature than the conventional niobium (Nb) superconductor, allowing higher operating temperatures and frequencies.
