Introducing the environmentally friendly initiatives in the buildings of Waseda University towards achieving carbon neutrality.

The 37th building of Waseda University, Waseda Arena, was completed in March 2019.
Waseda Arena was able to reduce its standard primary energy consumption by 50% under the Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS). As a highly energy-efficient/low-energy building, it has received a ZEB ready certification.
