JSX as markup language Community Group

The proposal is that jsx be implemented as a dynamic markup language for the web since just HTML + DOM are still not enough to create applications like the ones we currently build using frameworks.

With JSX updating conventional HTML ideas to create better-designed static websites and using dynamic data structures, with repetition loops and adding event hooks more easily, the group's idea would be to bring together people who share the same idea so that together we can do tests in different scenarios and create polyfills if necessary

Group's public email, repo and wiki activity over time

Note: Community Groups are proposed and run by the community. Although W3C hosts these conversations, the groups do not necessarily represent the views of the W3C Membership or staff.

Chairs, when logged in, may publish draft and final reports. Please see report requirements.

This is a community initiative. This group was originally proposed on 2023-11-24 by Guilherme Siquinelli. The following people supported its creation: Guilherme Siquinelli, Seif Eddine Slimene, Tiago Nascimento da Silva, Hallison Brancalhão, Marcelo Fernandes. W3C’s hosting of this group does not imply endorsement of the activities.

The group must now choose a chair. Read more about how to get started in a new group and good practice for running a group.

We invite you to share news of this new group in social media and other channels.
