2. Meeting logistics:
To provide the best hybrid meeting experience, all participants should join the virtual meeting in Microsoft Teams, including those attending in person. Please have Teams installed before the meeting; you can download it for free here.
2.1 On-site attendance
The meeting will be held in the Pilchuck room of Building 40, on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, WA. Building 40 is part of a two-building complex (buildings 40 and 41) located on the west side of 156th Avenue NE, between NE Turing Street and NE 31st Street.
Parking: There is a parking garage adjacent to Building 40. To access the garage, enter the 40/41 complex from NE 31st Street, or from the south-bound lane of 156th Avenue NE. The south end of the garage will be closer to Building 40. Inside the garage, visitor spots will be located near the entrances to the garage. Vehicles need to be registered at the lobby — the receptionist will ask for plate number, make, model, color, and year of the vehicle.
Teams meeting: When joining the Teams meeting (see below), select “Don’t use audio”.
Hotels: see below for some hotel options.
2.2 Online attendance
Use the Teams link details below for all meeting days.
People planning to join the meeting should notify the chair in advance (see contact information below) and should set their Teams profile to show their full name. You will not be admitted if the name appearing in the Teams lobby isn’t recognized.
