Student Life at UM

Student Life at UM

On our campus, there's never a dull moment.

There are only so many hours in the day, and with countless groups to join, sports to play and performances to take in, you’ll have no problem filling them. And that’s just on campus. Missoula makes a lot of “best town” lists and for good reason. Take it all in as a Grizzly.

UM Housing

Our housing options create a living environment that fosters a sense of community and nurtures your educational experiences and personal development. We offer nine on-campus residence halls, apartment-style living in Lewis and Clark Village, and family housing in the University Villages. Welcome home.

Health and Well-Being

  • Seeing a health professional as a UM student is easy and convenient. Curry Health Center provides high-quality and affordable medical, dental, counseling and wellness services, as well as an on-campus pharmacy.

  • Counseling Services offers support and assistance in connecting students with resources on and off-campus. Our licensed counselors, social workers and psychologists, as well as advanced graduate students, offer individual and group therapy in addition to urgent counseling.

  • By building a culture of well-being that is embedded into all aspects of campus life, our community will thrive. UM's Well-Being Resources webpage is a centralized location to find well-being support services and information for students, faculty/staff and parents/guardians of students.

Campus Recreation

A healthy mind needs a healthy body. Complement your classroom studies with Campus Recreation’s robust offerings of health, fitness and outdoor activities. Check out the robust offerings from Campus Recreation below.

Accessible for All

We believe potential should know no limits. That’s why we’re committed to providing equal opportunities in education, employment, programs, activities and services to everyone, including those with disabilities. To us, access is not only a civil right, it’s just right.

UM's Office for Disability Equity ensures that programs of the University of Montana are as accessible and usable by students with disabilities as they are for any student.
