SignServer 7.0 Community, has been released. This new version brings a new, upgraded technology stack, along with various improvements and error corrections, ensuring better performance, security, and future-ready compatibility.

Upgraded Technology Stack

SignServer 7 brings an upgraded technology stack, now requiring WildFly 32 or JBoss EAP 8 as supported application servers and Java 17 as the runtime. This update ensures enhanced performance and security, with future support planned for Java 21. Note that upgrading from SignServer 6.3 to 7 requires a full stack upgrade due to compatibility changes in the latest WildFly and JBoss EAP versions.
