Welcome to OKI Technical Review (OTR), a technical journal published by Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., which presents our Research and Development approaches and achievements to help overseas customers understand our engineering capabilities and corporate vision. The articles contained in OTR are selected from "OKI Technical Review," published in Japanese.
Latest issue
Since manufacturing Japan's first telephone in 1881, OKI has supported social infrastructures in fields such as communications, finance, transportation, and disaster prevention. The "capability to create&manufacture," "capability to connect," and "capability to support the continuity of social infrastructure" that OKI has cultivated providing reliable, secure, and convenient social infrastructures is referred to as "Robustness" and is OKI's core competence. Last year, OKI announced the "Edge Platform," a technology concept based on "Robustness."
This issue provides overviews of OKI's "Robustness" and the "Edge Platform" concept together with specific examples and open innovation initiatives.
As OKI works to expand globally across the entire company through innovations based on the "Edge Platform" concept, the company will continue to pursue its goal of "Delivering OK! to your life."
