Quicklink(s)

ZotMail is the electronic communication system used to transmit authorized business messages to selected groups.

ZotMail is UC Irvine’s primary electronic communication system used to transmit authorized business messages. This web-based messaging system enables authorized senders in the offices of the Chancellor, Provost, Vice Chancellors, and Deans to send messages using a password-protected interface.

Features

Choose Your Subscriptions

Employees, students, and affiliates are able to update their own subscription choices. New employees, students, and affiliates are automatically added to the ZotMail system.

Note: You cannot unsubscribe from emergency messages and mandatory/compliance messages. As part of UCI’s emergency communication plan, the Chancellor, Provost/EVC, and UCI Police Department have the ability to send ZotMail messages to reach the entire UCI community including all unsubscribed users.

My ZotMail Inbox

View the ZotMail messages sent to you in the past 30 days in My ZotMail Inbox on the ZotMail website.

ZotMail Archives

Missed a message? Use the searchable archive of the publicly available ZotMail messages. Archived messages are only kept for 2 years.

Existing ZotMail Senders

Go to the UCI ZotMail website and use the Send New Message link under Authorized Senders to send your message. Only authorized senders can access the system.

NOTE: If an authorized sender becomes inactive, separated, or terminated in UCPath, they will be removed from the role automatically.

New ZotMail Sender Request

If you wish to become an authorized sender for your school or department, visit KSAMS to complete a request. The account owner will have to approve your request in KSAMS.
