Some examples of our golden numbers are those ending with:
- 4 identical digits (XXX 9999)
- 2 or 3 zeros (XXX 7400 or XXX 7000)
- 2 digit identical block (XXX 1515)
- 4 ascending digits (XXX 6789)
The first 3 digits of your golden number (prefix) will be allocated by Mauritius Telecom depending on your region/area while the remaining 4 digits (suffix) will be of your choice. The final golden number is, of course, subject to availability of the requested number.

Call Waiting
Call Waiting allows you to handle 2 calls at a time.
How does it work?
If you are already on a call and you receive a second call at the same time, your phone will simply beep.
You may decide to:
put the 1st caller on hold and speak to the 2nd caller
end the 1st call and speak to the 2nd caller
set up a 3-way conference call

Caller Line Identification (CLI) allows you to see the telephone number of the person calling you. For this service, your telephone needs to support CLI.
Note: The number may not be displayed if the caller has restricted his/her Caller Identification*.

3-way Conference
3-Way Conference allows you to speak to 2 persons at the same time.
How do I start a 3-Way Conference?
Call or receive a call from 1st contact
Press "R" or "Flash" on your telephone keypad
Dial the number of the 2nd contact (1st person will automatically be put on hold)
You can talk with your 2nd contact upon answering.
Press "R" then "3" or "Flash" on your telephone keypad to establish the 3-Way Conference
The outgoing call charges are borne by the person who initiates the 3-Way Conference.
How much does it cost?
It is included for free when you have a my.t fixed line.
Phone Lock
Phone Lock allows you to restrict usage and access to your fixed telephone.
Advantages of Phone Lock
Ideal for parental control. You can still receive calls.
Avoid excess usage on your fixed line and control your bills
Emergency & Call Free numbers may still be dialled
How do I use Phone Lock?
After Phone Lock service is activated on your line:
Lift your telephone handset
Dial *33*
Enter the 4-digit PIN provided to you
Press #
You can now make your call
Re-lock your phone after making your phone call:

Re-enter the 4-digit PIN code

Your phone has been re-locked

After registering your request, a 4-digit PIN will be provided to you. This service will be activated within 24 hours.
Note: Depending on your location, you might have to enter another code after the provided 4-digit PIN. Same will be provided to you at the time of registration.
If your telephone service is on fibre, your default password will be 1000. To change the password, lift your handset and dial *03*. Enter your current password. Press *. Enter your new password. Press *. Enter your new password again. Press #.
Caller-line Identification Restriction
With Caller-Line Identification Restriction (CLIR), you can keep your number private.
Your number will not be displayed when you are calling a person or a company who has Caller Line Identification*.

Call Barring
Call Barring allows you to block incoming, outgoing and international calls on your fixed telephone.
Types of calls that may be blocked after barring:
Incoming calls: You will not be able to receive calls
Outgoing calls: You will not be able to make phone calls
International calls: You will not be able to make international calls
How much does it cost?
One-off fee of Rs 100 (VAT excl.)
Blocking of international calls is free of charge
