Recognizing the importance of forests and the potential wood use in realizing a decarbonized society, we will disseminate the information on the efforts of each sector to expand actions for sustainable forest management and wood use.

“For Building Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems ~Contribution by Food Sectors in the Food Supply Chain~”(PDF : 190KB)
For building resilient and sustainable agriculture and food systems, we will share our efforts to collaborate with agricultural production sites in the food industry, which connects the food supply chain from production to consumption.

“Tackling the Climate Change with Innovations and Actions ~Change the world with Strategies such as MIDORI~“(PDF : 192KB)
We will share information on policy efforts, initiatives, and technologies of each country aimed at achieving both productivity growth and sustainability in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and food sectors, which includes Japan’s strategy “MIDORI”. Also, we will discuss approaches taken by G7 countries to promote environmentally friendly agriculture including reduction of greenhouse gas emission, and carbon storage, as well as efforts to promote behavioral change among various stakeholders.
