In order to take animal products overseas from Japan
1.Confirm "whether it is subject to export quarantine inspection" and "import requirements of the destination country"
It applies to "items subject to Japan's animal quarantine" and "items for which the destination country requires, upon the import thereof, a certificate proving they do not spread domestic animal diseases".
Please confirm with the quarantine authorities of the destination country "can it be brought in" and "what kind of certification is required in order to bring it in".
Even items not subject to Japan's animal quarantine, when a certificate proving they do not spread domestic animal diseases is required, it is necessary to undergo an export quarantine inspection at Animal Quarantine Service prior to departing from Japan.
2.Check whether it is subject to export suspension
Certain countries have suspended the bringing in of meat products, etc., from Japan.
We cannot issue an export quarantine certificate if the destination country has suspended the bringing in of such items.

3.Undergo export inspection by Animal Quarantine Service before you depart
Please contact Animal Quarantine Service at the airport or seaport to arrange for export quarantine inspection.
The documents required will vary depending on the import requirements of the destination country.
