LANDMARK EVENTS
February has been an incredibly dynamic month, filled with several parallel activities. One of the highlights was the launch of the new Centre National IMT Réseaux et Systèmes pour la Transformation Numérique, where two members of the LINCS COMEX are playing a key role, alongside the active participation of several permanent and associated members in the project.
In addition, we have finally set the dates for two of the major events of the current semester : the workshop on IA which will take place on 22&23 April, in the premises of Sorbonne Université, and the Lincs Annual Workshop with its Scientific Committee, which will take place on 10&11 April.
I will get back to you soon to finalize the date for the next PhD Student Day together, which is tentatively scheduled for June. This is because it will also serve as a practice opportunity for those students who will pitch at the annual workshop in front of the scientific committee.
LAUNCH EVENT FOR THE IMT NATIONAL CENTER FOR NETWORKS AND SYSTEMS FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
The Centre, a unique and flexible « without walls » structure, was officially launched on January 30, 2025. It supports the entire innovation chain, offering companies across various sectors access to cutting-edge R&D, international-standard experimentation platforms, and integrated services in research, innovation, technology transfer, and training.
The launch event featured morning presentations by key figures, including Vincent Charvillat (Institut Mines-Télécom), Étienne Klein, Erzsébet Fitori (Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking), Geoffroy Lerosey (Greenerwave), Benoît Ampeau (AFNIC), and Laurent Toutain (IMT Atlantique). A roundtable discussion on « The Future of Digital Technology and Priorities for National Players » followed. The afternoon included collaborative workshops to identify new opportunities and accelerate ongoing projects.
