Robert E. McGuire

Robert E. McGuire became the Acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee on December 28, 2024. Mr. McGuire is a Nashville native and career prosecutor who has spent over twenty years prosecuting violent crime. During his career he has tried over thirty murder cases to verdict and over one hundred felony jury trials overall in both state and federal court. In addition to his work as a prosecutor, Mr. McGuire serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Belmont Law School where he teaches in the Trial Advocacy program.
