  • Main businesses
    The Company and its subsidiaries principally provide end-to-end Information and Communications Technology solutions. This includes the research, design, manufacture and marketing of telecom network equipment, IT products and solutions, cloud technology and services, digital power products and solutions and smart devices for telecom carriers, enterprises and consumers.
  • Research and innovation
    In 2023, the company invested CNY164.7 billion back into R&D, which accounted for 23.4% of its annual revenue. Altogether, the company's R&D investment over the past decade amounts to CNY1.11 trillion. 
    By the end of 2023, Huawei held a total of 140,000+ active patents and had signed over 200 patent licensing and cross-license agreements with many of the world’s largest patent holders.
    According to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Huawei is the world’s 8th most innovative company. Huawei ranked 5th in the 2023 EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard.
