Basque Fonts
Basque fonts offered by Fontfabric are designed to support Basque orthography and text.
The Basque language is also known as Batua and has its own unique alphabet and writing system. The Basque alphabet includes additional letters to represent the unique sounds of the Basque language. Additional letters include “ñ” (called eñe), “h”, “tx”, and “tz”. The letters are typically written in lowercase, but uppercase letters are also used for certain purposes, such as in proper nouns. Words are typically written without spaces between them, and the placement of accent marks on words can affect their pronunciation and meaning.
