The European Disability Forum (EDF) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced proofreading service providers to support the organisation in proofreading on a new report.
Practical information about the report: timeline and characteristics
- Topic: European Union’s implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD).
- The report may vary in length, but it is estimated 70 pages in total.
- Timeline: The final version of the report must be completed by the end of January 2025. Please note that this deadline is fixed and non-negotiable, so we are seeking someone who can reliably meet this timeframe.
The successful provider should:
- Thorough proofreading for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors.
- Ensuring consistency in language, style, and terminology throughout the reports.
- Providing suggestions for clarity and coherence where necessary.
- Deliver two files: one with tracked changes and a clean word document.
- 3 rounds of review of the final deliverables.
Requirements:
- Should be registered in a European Union country.
- Experience in proofreading, preferably in the field of advocacy, or policy.
- Proficiency in English, with exceptional grammar and language skills.
- Familiarity with disability rights terminology.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
