Terms of Use

The precautions below must be followed when using the Data Downloading Service (referred to as "The Service" below), provided by DNP Photo Imaging Japan Co., Ltd. (referred to as gDNPh below).

1. Service overview

DNP provides the following services through ID-Spot photo booths (referred to as gID-Spoth below) and the ID-Photo application for smartphones provided by DNP (referred to as gthe Applicationh below).

<Data Downloading Service>

This service enables customers to save photo data (referred to as gphoto datah below) taken by ID-Spot to the Application (data saved in a smartphone or tablet is referred to as gsaved photo datah below) using a smartphone or tablet (iOS <for iPhone and iPad> and Android).

2. For use of The Service

The storage period of captured photo data on our server is 7 days from the date of capture. Please download the photo data to this application within the storage period.

3. Information management

For using The Service, the following individual codes, both QR code and download password, are required. If the prints are stolen or lost, The Service may be abusively used by a third party. Please manage the printout you have responsibly.

4. Change of Terms of use

  1. The Company may change Terms of Use in accordance with Article 548-4 of the Civil Code. In such case, The Services after the implementation date of the modified, Terms of Use shall be provided in accordance with the modified Terms of Use.
  2. In the event of modification of the Terms of Use, we will notify you of the modification of the Terms of Use, the contents of the modified Terms of Use, and the effective date of the modification, with a reasonable notice period before the effective date of the modified Terms of Use.

5. Scope of responsibility

  1. Please understand that DNP assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss of data in your smartphone or tablet caused during the use of The Service.
  2. In order to be prepared for any unexpected accidents, please be sure to back up your data before using The Service.
  3. If The Service is unavailable due to a malfunction of the DNP network, etc., except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by DNP, DNP shall be liable up to the amount of the payment received from the customer.

Privacy policy

This application privacy policy (referred to as gthe Privacy Policyh below) defines the handling policy of personal information regarding the ID-Spot photo booths (referred to as gID-Spoth below) and, the ID-Spot application for smartphones (iOS <for iPhone and iPad> and Android) (referred to as gthe Applicationh below) used to send/receive photo data and print photos developed by Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (referred to as gDNPh below) on behalf of DNP Photo Imaging Japan Co., Ltd. (referred to as gPIJh below).

Article 1 (Collected personal information items and collection method)

PIJ obtains the following personal information from the Application. The user will not be able to download the photo data if the download password is not correctly entered.

  1. Download password (collected when the user enters their password)
  2. Photo identification code (collected when the user scans their QR code)
  3. The photo data sent to the photo data server from ID-Spot by a user`s operation (referred to as gphoto datah below)
  4. The photo data saved in the Application (referred to as gsaved photo datah below) (obtained by a user`s operation of ID-Spot)
  5. Camera Roll (access authorized by the user)

Article 2 (Purpose of use, transfer of responsibility, and external transfer)

PIJ will use all the personal information mentioned in Article 1 for the following purposes.

  1. To download and save photo data to the usersf smartphones from ID-Spot via the photo data server. (Download password, photo identification code, photo data and Camera Roll)
  2. To respond customersf inquiries. (All personal information)

For the above purposes, this application sends a photo identification code to the server for the captured image data.
PIJ outsources to DNP the development of this application and the management of the server for the captured image data.
DNP uses personal information only for the purpose of the business entrusted by PIJ.

Article 3 (Disclosure of information to a third party and data collection module)

  1. The Application will not send personal information to a third party.
  2. The Application does not use data collection module.

Article 4 (User agreement)

The user must read and agree with this Privacy Policy to use the Application.
The user will be asked to agree with this Privacy Policy when he/she launches the Application for the first time. If the user does not agree, he/she will be unable to use the Application and this service.
This Privacy Policy can also be displayed from the menu of the Application.

Article 5 (Suspension by the user of service usage and collection of information)

To stop the collection of personal information by PIJ, the user should delete (uninstall) the Application. When the user deletes the Application, the customer is considered to have terminated use of this application.

Article 8 (Policy modification)

This Privacy Policy may be modified.
