  Home network security service

  Network devices that serve as the entrance to the home network are equipped with security functions to prevent attacks on network-connected devices in the home by detecting and blocking access to cyber-attacks at an early stage. With this, devices that are difficult to deploy security, such as smart appliances and IoT devices, can be protected from the threat of cyber attacks.

  Based on the technology and experience that DigiOn has accumulated up to now, we have reduced the development load of network devices by incorporating them into the userland of network devices and also realized advanced security protection at multiple levels such as reputation and content filtering.

  IoT Secure Authentication Service

  By introducing authentication through the pairing of IoT devices and apps, the connection between IoT devices and apps can be managed with certificates to prevent unauthorized access and spoofing.

  This technology is based on the application of pairing and remote access in conventional DiXiM products and based on its proven track record, it provides high-quality services in terms of security, operation, and connectivity.

  DigiOn DiNAS(DiXiM Network Activation Service)

  OVERVIEW

  To use content protection mechanisms such as Marlin DRM and DTCP-IP, a unique data called a "device key" must be embedded in each device.
  DigiOn DiNAS is a network activation service that activates DTCP-IP and Marlin DRM functions by supplying device keys to these devices via the Internet.

  FEATURES

  Reduce costs and create a DRM environment

  For example, if the device is a PC, a hard disk image with a different device key built into each one. It would be very costly and unsuitable for manufacturing realities. However, with this service, the device key will be available to the user at a later time to actually use this feature automatically installed over an Internet connection.
  You can provide users with software that supports DTCP-IP and Marlin DRM at a lower cost.

  Secure delivery of device keys

  A secure communication path using HTTPS (TLS/SSL) is secured between DigiOn DiNAS Center and users' devices built in the iDC (Internet Data Center).
  In addition, the use of client authentication with certificates prevents unauthorized device keys from being obtained by spoofing.

  Control through version management

  When an application has a security update, it can be controlled by version management, for example, by setting up the center so that it can only be activated with the latest version.

  Fault-tolerance through redundancy and high availability

  The redundant hardware configuration ensures fault-tolerance in the event of a failure, and the load balancing and availability of load balancing.

  24/7 operation

  It is operated 24/7 by iDC and can be activated at any time when a user wants to start using this application.

  CONSTRUCTION

  

  1. The DRM-enabled application will include a DigiOn DiNAS client module for activation and a digital certificate issued by DigiOn.
     This is used to authenticate with the DigiOn DiNAS Center's activation server.
  2. The DigiOn DiNAS client module sends an activation request to DigiOn DiNAS Center via the Internet.
     The center uses a predetermined method to determine if the request is from the right client.
  3. The DigiOn DiNAS Center encrypts the information needed to activate it and returns it to the DigiOn DiNAS Client Module, if it is a correct request.
     The DigiOn DiNAS client module stores the activation information in a secure state and enables the DRM feature.

  DigiOn DiNAS Center (Network Activation Server)

  This is a facility built into the iDC that issues activation information, including device keys.

  DigiOn DiNAS Client Module

  This software is used to perform activation from the device.
  It is built into software that uses DTCP-IP and Marlin DRM.
