In the United States, as of January 1, 2010, all new Spanish-language and bilingual Spanish/English television programming must be closed captioned. The rules of the CVAA require closed captions for IP-delivered videos that previously appeared on television with captions. Starting January 2016, the FCC also required closed captioning for video clips.

As an option, we provide vertical caption placement through an automated process that repositions captions to the top of the screen whenever necessary to avoid obstructing onscreen text. This process complies with FCC rule 47 C.F.R. § 79.1(j)(2).
Although rarely necessary, the caption editor allows you to quickly make changes to your captions or transcripts after they have been processed. Your edits propagate to all caption and transcript outputs, including video plugins that have already been published.
For files that contain a mix of Spanish and English source content, we provide dual language captioning and transcription. Simply select “Dual Language” as your service upon upload and choose the primary language of the media file.
Our competitive prices are based on the duration of each file. You are charged on a pay-per-use basis and there are no hidden charges. You can either pay by credit card or we can invoice you.
We provide several turnaround options for Spanish captioning and transcription to help you meet your deadlines. You can select turnaround for individual files or groups of files upon upload. Standard turnaround is 4 business days. We also offer 2-business-day, 1-business-day, and 8-hour turnaround for Spanish transcription and captioning.
