Space around punctuation

In most typographic traditions, some amount of white space appears around some punctuation signs. The “Lexique des règles typographiques” provides the following guidelines:

espace fine insécable	!	espace justifiante

pas de blanc: no white space
espace justifiante: justifying space
espace fine insécable: non-breaking thin space
espace mots insécable: non-breaking word space
tiret: dash

There are different approaches for the representation of those spaces:

espace justifiante	U+0020 SPACE	U+0020 SPACE	U+0020 SPACE
espace fine insécable	-	U+202F NARROW NO-BREAK SPACE
espace mot insécable	-	U+00A0 NO-BREAK SPACE

In this translation, we adopted the third approach. The text we provide can be transformed to the other approaches, by removing the U+0020 before “:”, or replacing it with U+202F.
