MD/MMC Dual-Degree Program

The dual MD/MMC program is open to students who have completed two years of medical school at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. The 12-month program offers students training in journalism and multimedia to make future physicians better communicators.

Fellows study under veteran journalists and professors at Cronkite, including former Washington Post Executive Editor Leonard Downie Jr. and Pulitzer-winning investigative reporter Steve Doig.

Fellows return to Mayo to complete their medical degrees following their time at Cronkite.
