Central downtown SF Headquarters, with offices in Kansas City and London.

Why I joined RiskIQ

This seemed like a great opportunity to expand not only my programming knowledge but also learn more about the field of Cyber Security. The environment seemed more casual than in a big office so I wouldn’t feel like another number on a company roster. I also felt like the work I would be doing would impact the customers directly and in a relatively short time so I wouldn’t have to wait for months to get feedback or see people using the code I wrote. Which is always exciting!

What I like about working at RiskIQ

We have a great collaborative environment that expands beyond just my immediate team. I feel like we’re able to create meaningful relationships with other engineering teams as well as CS, ProdOps and even Sales representatives. I never feel bad about asking for help from my co-workers or taking responsibility for an issue since I know people here support each other and encourage mutual growth. It’s also nice to work in a place with people of similar geeky interests since we’re able to connect beyond just the professional interactions and become friends.
