The Spina Bifida Association (SBA) mobilizes the power of volunteers who are key partners in the movement to support people with Spina Bifida and prevent this birth defect from happening in the future. SBA volunteers are united by the desire to make the lives of others better. In doing so, their lives are also changed.
With your help, the SBA can stretch donors’ dollars and build a stronger organization—one that can change the world one person with Spina Bifida at a time.
SBA National or your local SBA Chapter could have just the opportunity that you are looking for—the chance to change lives.
Whether your contribution is time, skills, funds, or ideas, it can make all the difference.
Programs and Services
Successfully living with Spina Bifida means a focus on wellness. Equally important are health and wellness strategies, a strong support network of family and friends, satisfying work and leisure activities, a meaningful place in the community, and adequate attention to one’s inner self. SBA offers a variety of programs and services to help you meet those needs. Join a committee of the organization at a national level and help to shape the programs and services of today and tomorrow.
