Abstract
The present paper reports the parallelisation of an industrial hydrodynamics application, MIKE3, using the PINEAPL parallel, numerical library. Some background information and a profiling of the application provides the basis for a parallelisation strategy. A two-stranded approach with both a functional parallelisation of part of the application and the use of library routines is reported. Excellent scalability properties of the two approaches are reported.
