Summary
C, LISP, C+ + and PROLOG increased in use last years. The different programming styles of these languages have formed the idea programming-paradigm: C is a typical represention of the procedural, LISP of the functional, C + + of the object-oriented and PROLOG of the logic-oriented paradigm.
This presentation explains the development of types for knowledge representation. Some examples show the programming-paradigms followed by a discussion of different approaches to integration.
