Zusammenfassung

Objektorientierung und verteilte Objekttechnologien sind heutzutage in aller Munde. Hierbei findet viel Mystifizierung statt, die das Verständnis erschwert. In diesem Text werden wir uns mit den Begriffen der „Objektorientierung“ beschäftigen, um dann verteilte Objekttechnologien wie Corba, ActiveX, OLE und andere beleuchten zu können. Wir werden sehen, inwieweit diese den an Objektorientierung gestellten Ansprüchen tatsächlich gerecht werden können.

Im Rahmen dieses Textes kann natürlich die Thematik nur an der Oberfläche gestreift werden, im Literaturverzeichnis sind aber einige Quellen zu finden, in denen die angerissenen Themen genauer behandelt werden.
