Abstract

This paper presents a fuzzy risk evaluating method for network public sentiment emergency in which the risk factors are easily assessed by fuzzy value and the risk grades of each risk factor are evaluated by fuzzy linguistic value. By using the fuzzy entropy formula and the fuzzy comprehensive judgment matrix, we calculate the occurring probability of the unknown network public sentiment emergency. According to the interval that the calculated fuzzy comprehensive risk probability lies in, the risk rate of the network public sentiment emergency can be determined, which can further facilitate the urgent emergency decision making.
