Abstract
The use of ICT-based pervasive tools within e-health has become more and more commonplace. This has led to the emergence of systems that have to manage idiosyncratic data from multiple sources. In this paper, we present a Context Management Architecture, providing exchange of context data from heterogeneous sources both in real-time, with selective notification of subscribed clients, and off-line, with the use of a RESTful web-service application. The paper also describes a case study whereby the system is applied in support of autism intervention within the EU FP7 funded Michelangelo Project.
