Abstract

Modern healthcare systems are based on managing diagnostic information of patients through e-health. e-health refers to the internet enabled healthcare applications involving transacting personal health records and other internet based services including e-pharmacy etc. This paper introduces a hybrid algorithm which efficiently combines DWT-DCT-PSO for copyright protection and authentication of medical images. Particle swarm optimization is applied on the host image to find the intensities for embedding the watermark bits by gbest solution from objective function and the fitness function. The embedding strategy is adopted with intensity level, so the technique falls under robust blind watermarking technique. The simulation results shows that the proposed scheme yields good results when tested for different images and subjected to various attacks.
