Abstract
Issues concerning the conservation of historic monuments can be be supported by information systems. Databases offer significant opportunities for structuring knowledge, but they need to provide the users with effective tools. Efficiency of these tools depends largely on functionality and flexibility of the interfaces. This paper presents a proposal for a new interface access to databases of historical buildings using fuzzy sets.
