Abstract
The differential current conveyor cascaded transconductance amplifier (DCCCTA), a new active block, is presented in this study, along with its implementation in a multi-mode biquadratic universal shadow filter. The proposed circuit can operate in the two modes of operation such as transadmittance mode (TAM) and current mode (CM). High-pass (HP), low-pass (LP), band-pass (BP), band-reject (BR), and all-pass (AP) universal filter responses are all realized simultaneously. As desired, the low input impedance for CM and high input impedance for TAM while high output impedance for both the modes of operations are obtained. Moreover, Monte Carlo analysis, inter-modulation distortion (IMD), and percentage total harmonic distortion (%THD) responses are obtained. The theoretical results are validated through TSMC 180 nm technology using Cadence Virtuoso.
