  1. This is an event where participants use the Sports Town Walker app to compete to see how many steps they can walk within a time limit.
    Please be sure to follow traffic rules, etiquette, and facility usage rules when participating.
  2. Please do not walk or cycle in groups and cause inconvenience to other pedestrians.

    Please avoid dark times such as nighttime and participate during times when it is safe to walk.

    Please pay close attention to your health condition before starting, and discontinue if you feel unwell.

    The organizers will not be held responsible for any injuries, illnesses, incidents, accidents, etc. that occur during the event.

    This event is open only to current students of Waseda University or Keio University. Please note that non-students cannot participate.

    During the event period from Wednesday, November 13th to Friday, December 13th, 2024, please launch the “Sports Town WALKER” app every day to update your walking data.

How to participate

Step1Check before downloading “Sports Town WALKER”

For iOS users

Please make sure that the standard iPhone app “Health” is working properly.If you join the event halfway through, your step count will be recorded going back to November 20th if “Health” is working properly.

STEP3Launch the Sports Town WALKER app and connect it to “Health” if you are using iOS, or to “Google Fit” if you are using Android.

STEP4Register your Sports Net ID (=RUNNET account)

  1. ❶ Enter your email address twice. Enter it again on the second line to confirm.
  2. ❷ Check the terms of use and tap “I agree to the terms of use.”
  3. ❸ Tap “Next.”

Open the “New Member Registration Procedure” email sent to your registered email address and tap the URL in the “New Member Registration Procedure URL.”

    *Your “User ID/email address” and “Login password” will be required when logging in to “Sports Town WALKER.” Be sure to write them down so you don’t forget them.

  2. ❷Enter your personal information, such as your name.
  3. ❸Tap “Confirm.”

STEP5Actually launch the app

①Start the app “Sports Town WALKER”

② Enter your “Sports net ID” (=RUNNET account) or email address and password.
③Tap the “Login” button.

④Register a nickname.*Nicknames that are already in use cannot be used. Please register a different nickname.

⑤Register your city, town, or village.
STEP6Enter the event
There are 3 steps to participating in the event.

②University competition entry（Required for all participants）

③Group/individual entry（Required for all participants）
