Real-Time Analytics Summit 2025

event date

14 May 2025

location

Online

Real-Time Analytics Summit 2025 is a virtual conference for developers and architects working to deliver actionable insights to their users from real-time data sources at scale.

Real-time data pipelines are growing explosively, and with them the need to optimize the analytics capabilities we build around them. Developers and architects have increasingly been relying on new infrastructure components like Apache Pinot to expose analytics not just to internal decision-makers, but to users themselves. This conference will explore the technologies and architectural practices that enable us to move analytics out the dashboard and into the world, and to do so at scale and at speed.

Organized by StarTree and the original creators of Apache Pinot™, Real-Time Analytics Summit will cover everything in the real-time analytics ecosystem, including data streaming technologies, real-time databases, data architecture, and more.

What to Submit

This year our program will be built around 2 content tracks:

TRACK ONE – Developing Real-Time Applications

This track is dedicated to developers who want to deepen their expertise in real-time analytics. Through technical demonstrations, programming deep dives, and expert-led sessions, participants will learn how to design, implement, and optimize real-time analytics. Attendees will explore advanced topics like data ingestion, query performance tuning, and integrating real-time systems with existing architectures. By the end of this track, developers will walk away with actionable skills to build faster, more efficient analytics solutions that can scale with demand.

TRACK TWO – Scaling Real-Time Analytics for Maximum Business Impact

Tailored for engineering leaders and data architects, this track focuses on strategic approaches to incorporating and scaling real-time analytics in enterprise data platforms. Attendees will gain insights into aligning real-time analytics with business objectives, managing resources effectively, transformative use cases, and ensuring sustainable, high-performance data solutions. Industry leaders will share insights on overcoming common challenges and achieving high impact outcomes. Attendees will gain a clear roadmap for implementing scalable real-time solutions that boost capabilities and optimize resource usage.

In addition to our standing topics outlined above, this year we are especially encouraging submissions on new and emerging areas where technologies are making an impact, including Observability and Real-Time Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

The program will cover a broad array of technologies, like Apache Pinot®, Apache Kafka®, Apache Flink®, Apache Superset®, Apache Grafana®, and more. We hope your proposal ends up in the final program!

Speaker Requirements

All sessions will be professionally pre-recorded. We will work with accepted speakers to schedule the best time and format for their session recording. We also require that speakers be available on the day of the event to answer attendee questions in the virtual chat.

Talk submissions can cover a wide range of topics relating to real-time analytics: use cases, infrastructure, databases, data engineering, BI, UI tools, and more. Talks should be no longer than 25 minutes in length. Remember that a great submission tells a story and focuses on the attendee. Start by telling us what's wrong with their world, then tell us what you know that can fix that problem, then finish up by showing us how your talk will send them back home better than they came. We hope to see you in the program!
