Ive had experience flying drones before but this was my first time trying the XT8, which I received as a gift. After carefully reading the instructions and downloading the app, I took it outside for a test flight. Perfect weather conditions, I connected it to my phones wifi, and hit the takeoff button. Immediately after, the drone began to fly off on its own. I had no control of it. It flew out of sight and l lost connection. It no doubt malfunctioned. There was nothing I could do. I spend a few hours looking for it, but had no joy. Its very disappointing, especially because it was bought for me. I believe a refund or a replacement should be returned to the buyer.
