Trajan columnar apple ݥ륫
As this variety is a registered cultivar by a British firm if my memory serves right-and dont know why in Japan they decided name this "ݥ륫"anyway they are indentical.
What makes me quite satisfied, are
1:the reasonable price(they usually cost twice as much as this-1500yen) amd
2:the quality of saplings. the graft joint is smooth, and moderately high(about 70cm), and well-rooted but not to the degree of congestion, which, is actually sometimes hard to experience from saplings not from sapling producers. To those green thumbers who have a limited gardening space, columnar apples are doubtlessly a gospel.
Quite surprisingly, the saplings were not fixed with adhesive tape or other means but they arrived without a single drop of leaves. the carrier was Seino Unyu and they seem to know how to deal plants with due care.
