Inauguration Tickets

The 60th Presidential Inauguration will take place at the United States Capitol on Monday, January 20, 2025. The inauguration is a ticketed event and consists of the swearing-in ceremony and the inaugural address. House offices anticipate being able to distribute a limited number of tickets to their constituents.

Constituents of the Massachusetts 7th Congressional District interested in securing inauguration tickets should complete the request form linked at the bottom of this page. Completing the form does not guarantee that tickets will be provided, as the demand often exceeds the number of tickets available.

Please review the entirety of the Frequently Asked Questions section before submitting the form. Please contact us at MA07Inauguration@mail.house.gov with any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Request tickets from Congresswoman Pressley’s office if I am not a resident of the Massachusetts 7th?

The office cannot accommodate ticket requests from individuals who are not residents of the Massachusetts 7th Congressional District. Individuals from other congressional districts should contact their home Representative or U.S. Senator to inquire about ticket availability.

I submitted the request form. When can I expect to hear back from the office?

After submitting the request form below, constituents will receive an email within five to seven business days confirming they’ve been added to the waitlist.

The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) will not inform House offices of how many tickets they’ll be allotted to distribute until closer to the Inauguration. Once we’ve received these final details from JCCIC, we’ll send individual updates on ticket availability in response to each request received. Submitting multiple requests or sending follow-up emails does not increase the likelihood of securing tickets.

How many tickets will the office be able to distribute?

The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) will not inform House offices of how many tickets they’ll have to distribute until December 2024 at the earliest. Submitting a request does not guarantee that tickets will be provided, as the demand far exceeds the number of tickets available.

What do these tickets give us access to?

Historically, the tickets made available to House offices for public distribution are standing room only and solely provide access to the swearing-in ceremony and inaugural address. The tickets do not include access to inaugural balls or other events. Our office does not receive seated tickets to the Inaugural Parade following the swearing-in, but typically tickets to observe the Inaugural Parade route on foot are not required.

How can I pick up tickets if I receive them?

Historically, the JCCIC has not released the physical Inauguration tickets to House offices until approximately one week before the Inauguration. Therefore, it will not be possible to mail Inauguration tickets. We are awaiting further guidance on if digital tickets will be an option this year. Additional pick-up instructions will be shared directly with those who secure tickets.
