Try out collecting the element timing in WebPageTest on the RU wiki. We collect visual elements, so maybe we can compare those metrics with the element timings.

I've tested a couple of URLs locally instead. 11 runs for each URL:

It looks really good. We can skip adding to WebPageTest and hope it will reach stable ASAP so we can start using it.
