Pay Citation
Parking citation payments must be submitted within 21 days of issuance to avoid a $50 late penalty. There are three payment options available to you:
Pay Online
For your convenience, citations may be paid online. Ensure you have your 6 or 7 digit citation number, license plate number, and full vehicle identification number (VIN) available.
Pay by Mail
When paying a citation by mail, please enclose the citation and a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check payable to “UC REGENTS” to the address below. We do not accept cash via mail.
200 Public Services Building
Irvine, CA 92697-4525
Pay in Person
Citations may be paid in person at the main UCI Transportation office. Office hours are Monday through Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Check, cash, and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Coins will not be accepted.
Payment Plan Eligibility
The registered owner may be eligible for a UCI payment plan for outstanding parking citations by meeting all of the following criteria:
- No defaults on previous payment plans.
- A minimum of 3 parking citations on file with UCI.
- Vehicle must not be currently immobilized or impounded.
If the registered owner has documentation showing indigence, the owner may be eligible for a lower payment plan option. The registered owner must provide proof of enrollment in a public benefit program, or be within a per-determined monthly income level. Proof of enrollment may include a valid public benefits card, pay stub, or an enrollment letter. Only one proof of enrollment is required. The registered owner must also provide a valid government ID to verify identification.
You may request this payment plan up to 120 days after the date of citation issuance. Below are the eligible public benefits programs or monthly income levels for the low-income payment plan.
