As one example, she worked with The Trevor Project to build a generative AI-powered “Crisis Contact Simulator” that helps train counselors to support LGBTQ+ youth in crisis, a product that was subsequently named one of TIME’s 100 best inventions of the year. She is also the most senior out transgender line officer and Naval Aviator in the U.S. Navy, setting standards, leading by example, and forging paths for all to thrive in serve. Emily made history as the first transgender naval aviator to regain flight clearance for tactical jets post-gender transition. She is the President of SPARTA, where she provides peer support, education, and fights for trans-inclusive military service. She has promoted DEI for two decades within the organizations and beyond through her mentorship efforts and by being a visible out within the community and across the actual firm's Prism Employee Network. Valentina is involved in various networks for lesbians and queer women and created one of them that boasts 600 members and aims to promote social and community events for members of LGBTQ+ communities. She created this group to promote a safe space for lesbians and queer women to talk and to meet. As GM's Assistant General Counsel, she regularly advises GM's DE&I, Legal and Global Human Resources Groups on LGBTQ+ legal, political, and social issues, with a focus on equality AND equity. Through her leadership positions, Amie is uniquely situated to bring LGTBQ+ issues to the table and regularly does. Outside of GM, she serves on the Advisory Council of oStem - a non-profit dedicated to LGBTQ+ individuals within the STEM community. Throughout her career, Amie has championed the rights of underrepresented individuals and those who are marginalized. At Wells Fargo, he is currently engaged with the NY LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group and assists with projects enterprise wide. Zak continues to be an advocate for hiring the best LGBTQ+ talent and engages with several diverse recruiting events for the firm. Zak serves on the Board of Directors for Services and Advocacy for Gay Elders (SAGE), Theatre Development Fund (TDF) and Garden State Equality (GSE). He is also an appointed member responsible for communications on the Shia Ismaili Muslim Council for the Northeastern US. She has been inducted into the Healthcare Hall of Fame and was recently honored by the Detroit LGBT Chamber of Commerce with the Allan Gilmour Leadership Award.

Jackie F. Steele

From 2021-2023, Jeremy served as President of Outforce New York Metro; through his leadership, Outforce has supported AIDS Walk, GMHC, Making Gay History and the NYC LGBTQ Center. Long an advocate of the ERG/BRG model, he founded LGBTQ+ ERGs at Ogilvy Chicago and FCBChicago earlier in his career. Jeremy works to honor his uncle Alan Burkart, an early victim of the AIDS epidemic.

Oliver is the first openly gay man to form part of Bank of Ireland’s Executive Team, and one of the few out LGBT+ executives in any major Irish listed company. Oliver has made it a priority to embody the message that everyone benefits when we bring our authentic selves to all aspects of our lives, including our place of work. He is the Executive Committee Sponsor of the Bank's LGBT+ employee resource group, as well as being an active member. In 2022, the company launched its inaugural Group Ally Programme, which encouraged colleagues to take a visible and active role in being an ally. The success of this program was driven by a top-down leadership approach, with a real focus on driving accountability for change and overall DEI efforts from the leadership level. During the summer, Oliver pioneered a Summer with Pride campaign, which included local and regional events, flying of flags on top of prominent office buildings and a CEO video campaign.
