National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc. (NMFTA)™ offers a variety of training programs to provide users of the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC)® with the skills necessary to get the most out of their NMFC. Our Classification and packaging training programs show how to locate commodity descriptions and determine the applicable class and packaging requirements quickly and accurately.

- Learn how to change a commodity’s classification
- Find out where to get assistance when you need help with a classification question or problem
If you would like customized training for your company, we can tailor our classes to meet your needs. Companies training 5 or more employees usually will find customized training to be a more cost-effective solution. Customized training classes offered include NMFC, Weighing & Research, ClassIT®, and Packaging training. These classes can be provided at your company’s location or by webinar.
