Spanning all geographical areas and periods of history, topics include, economics, psychohistory, climatology, family and gender history, applications of global mapping, opera and art, the history of technology, and environmental history. Books in the series contain a selection of the best of decades of publications in the journal, with attention to chronology, diversity, and geography, so as to offer readers an intriguing and representative cross-section of research appearing in JIH.
