become aware that there are no accidents in our intelligent universe
realize that everything that shows up in your life has something to teach you
appreciate every one and every thing in your life

Wayne Walter Dyer

Yet each of us well knew he should no glory reap,
Nor would man's memory requite our toilsome pain.
That long before our seed along that road would sweep,
Ere we could break a path and make it smooth and plain,
Our bleaching bones would lie beside it in a heap

Kamenyar (or The Pioneers / Stone Cutters) by Ivan Franko (tr. by Percival Cundy)

About me

I am a volunteer Wikipedian since April 2011; my home wiki is the Ukrainian Wikipedia. I am an administrator there since November 2012. In December 2012 I joined Wikimedia Ukraine. From December 2012 to June 2016 I have been a board member of Wikimedia Ukraine. I resigned the position after being approved as a member of Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees.

If you want to know more about my interests and views, read my statement and résumé here and here.

My work

Since June 23, 2016 I am a member of Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees, selected as an Affiliate-selected Board seat (2016, 2019). I was a chair of Board Governance Committee (2016-2019). I was a Vice-Chair (2019-2021). I am a Chair since October 13, 2021. I serve as a member of Governance Committees, an alternate for Talent and Culture Committee and Audit, and I am a liaison to Language, Affiliations, Elections Committees, and to the Movement Charter Drafting Committee.
