-Swipe down from the top of the screen.
-Tap Hotspot.
If you don’t find Hotspot , at the bottom left, tap Edit and drag Hotspot into your Quick Settings.
For IOS users
Go to Settings > Mobile services > Personal Hotspot
1. On the other device, open that device’s list of Wi-Fi options.
2. Pick your phone’s hotspot name.
3. Enter your phone’s hotspot password.
4. Click Connect.
Android device allow you to connect upto 10 devices while iOS allows only 5 devices. However depending on the bandwith usage on each device user experience may vary.
Yes, they are available both prepaid & postpaid users.
Any new or existing Hutch customer can activate ‘Hutch 2X’ plans.
– Prepaid customers can simply activate the plan as an add-on to the same number.
– Postpaid customers can obatin the connection as monthly subscription plan or activate as a recurring or one-time add-on plan.
If Prepaid – You can activate a plan by recharging pack price, via Hutch APP
If postpaid – You may activate respective add on plan via Hutch App or request for a package change via Hutch app or email
The easiest method is to order your connection via Hutch.lk as physical SIM with doorstep delivery or as an e-SIM. You also have the option of picking up a DIY connection from Keells / Food city supermarkets or by visiting the nearest retailer shop or Hutch shop.
Yes. You can activate multiple plans while having Hutch 2X plan.
Yes. You can activate a Hutch 2X plan while having a Nonstop social media plan. However, when you are accessing the social media apps offered on the nonstop social media plan it will be at SD quality. Hence we do not recommend you to activate Hutch 2X plans together with Nonstop Social media plans.
If you run out of any Data quota benefits offered, you may activate a special Hutch 2X Add-on plan for in the interim period.
