Steps to reproduce
- Receive an e-mail with an HTML body containing an anchor element with a nested image. It doesn't matter whether the anchor element contains just the image or both an image and text. I'm currently unable to check whether this applies to
img
elements, elements with a style attribute that sets thebackground-image
, or both (since Thunderbird Android doesn't support displaying or downloading EML files yet). - Long-press anywhere in the anchor element (including on the text if the anchor contains both text and an image).
Expected behavior
A context menu modal is displayed containing both...
- the actions of the context menu for links ("open", "share link", "copy link", "copy link text")
- and the actions of the context menu for images ("show image", "download image", "copy image url")
Actual behavior
The context menu for images overrides the context menu for links, so there is no way to copy the link if it contains a nested image. This is even the case if the anchor element contains both an image and text and the user is long-pressing the text only.
