Hi @snakajima, we are impressed with what you've done with neu.Node and are interested in using it for offline mapping applications. However, we work at a company that has more than $1m in revenue. Your license terms say MIT for companies with less than $1m in revenue (which is not an approach I've seen before). Please could you clarify the license terms for a company that is larger that that? We're trying to make some decisions on our direction at the moment, so a quick response would be appreciated if possible. Thanks!

I specified the license term that way because I wanted to support the developer community, especially students and individual developers. It means larger companies need to contact me like you are doing right now.

I can give you two choices.
(1) Write a large enough check to me, which you think it's a fair market value of this technology (without any support from me).
(2) Explain what you are building (including the name of company, product, etc.), and convince me that I should give you the license for free (with my name in the description of the iTunes store)

By the way, I'm a retired software engineer who made enough in '90s so that I don't need to work for money any more. I'm not trying to either squeeze money from you or give you a hard time. I just want to get enough respect for my work.

Dear Satoshi, thanks for the prompt reply. Let me have a think and I will
respond to you in the next day or so.

Cheers,
Peter.
