Slackbot Says

Slackbot Says is a Google Chrome extension that allows you to post messages to Slack from Slackbot's account.

Intallation

You can download Slackbot Says from the Chrome Web Store.

Setup

  1. Create a new Slackbot integration from within Slack.
  2. Open the Slackbot Says options page and enter the Slackbot URL you were provided after you created the integration. (For example, https://youraccount.slack.com/services/hooks/slackbot?token=1234567890qwertyuio)
  3. Click the Slackbot icon next to your address bar to start posting to Slack.
