Actually, the timeline only show two levels of informations : one upper-level, labelized layer (eg Months),
and one lower-level (the small graduations, eg. for days). But this is not enough, because with this system we don't know the year!

The timeline really need three levels of precision (eg. Year label, Month label, and simple graduation for days or weeks), to be really useful.

Also, when dealing with small yearly intervals, and big screen resolution, the timeline should not show the months as numerical values.

Imported from Launchpad using lp2gh.

This will be fixed in the new version of the Timeline, coming in Gephi 0.8beta.
