We specialise in the production of orange and white fleshedAmerican varieties of sweet potato.
To increase sweet potato production, Farmforte is supportingselect smallholder farmers in Edo state with a sweet potatooutgrower scheme. The collaboration between Farmforte andsmallholder farmers is rooted in a shared goal: to create positivesustainability outcomes in agricultural supply chains.
Orango is a highly fermented blond craft beer with a soft freshaftertaste. With the beer being soft and smooth you won’t expect itto have a percentage of 6.5%. What distinguishes Orango from otherbeers is that it contains sweet potato. This is added during thebrew so that the starch and colour of the potato are released.
Since then, we have set up a processing facility in Edo state,where we process sweet potato chips and fries, which arepackaged and exported to global markets. We implement sustainablepractices pre and post-harvest to achieve maximum quality.
