Jinu Babu – Biography

Jinu Babu is an accomplished technology leader with over two decades of experience, specializing in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Blockchain, and Large Language Models (LLMs). Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at EcoWiz Global, Jinu is responsible for harnessing the capabilities of open-source and proprietary LLMs and SLMs to build advanced systems that integrate both retrieval and generation functionalities. His leadership focuses on driving innovation through next-gen technologies, including Python, Node.js, and Blockchain.

Before joining EcoWiz Global, Jinu served as the VP of Engineering at TRAM Global, where he led engineering operations remotely from Kochi, Kerala, overseeing technological innovations and solutions between November 2022 and December 2023.

Jinu’s career at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) spans over 18 years. Most notably, he was the Cluster Head of TCS Interactive, where he managed multiple verticals, excelling in digital marketing strategies. He also played a pivotal role as the Go-to-Market Head for Blockchain Sales in the EMEA region, conducting design-thinking sessions and pitching blockchain solutions to CXO-level executives.

As the Global Head of Services, Solutions & Platforms for TCS Blockchain, Jinu was one of the founding members of TCS’s Blockchain Services, building large teams to drive blockchain innovation. His work centered around ideating, evaluating, and implementing blockchain use cases, and he was instrumental in articulating the benefits of blockchain for various industries.

Earlier in his TCS career, Jinu served as the Program Director for TCS Clever Energy, where he led a groundbreaking initiative to optimize energy consumption across TCS offices in India. His team leveraged IoT, Big Data, and Cloud solutions to implement a centralized energy management system, resulting in significant savings and a consistent downward trend in electricity usage.

Jinu’s journey in TCS began as the Delivery Manager for a North American Credit Card Major, where he spearheaded the development of a payment platform from scratch. Jinish George is a seasoned technology professional with over 19 years of extensive experience in the IT industry, currently serving as a Service Delivery Manager at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Since February 2018, Jinish has played a crucial role in managing strategic projects for TCS customers, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative technology solutions.

Prior to his current position, Jinish spent nearly 15 years as a Project Manager at TCS, where he successfully oversaw numerous projects, aligning technological capabilities with client needs. His journey with TCS began as a Technical Lead from October 2005 to January 2010, where he specialized in IBM mainframe technologies, working with DB2, JCL, COBOL, IMS DB/DC, ZOS MQ, and various IBM utilities. His deep technical expertise allowed him to guide teams in implementing complex solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.

Before joining TCS, Jinish worked as an Analyst Programmer at Syntel Ltd, where he honed his skills in IBM mainframe programming, gaining proficiency in technologies such as DB2, JCL, and COBOL. His early career also included a stint as a Guest Faculty Lecturer at LBS College of Engineering in Kasaragod, Kerala, where he taught courses on basic electronics, linear integrated circuits, and digital signal processing from October 2003 to March 2004.
