Biography:
Aravindhan Anbazhagan believes in the transformative power of communities. He is a UPSC aspirant and the founder of Educerelator, a startup dedicated to supporting educators and professionals with high-quality presentations, graphic design, and research work, aiming to empower educators with tailored solutions.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology, Chennai. Driven by a passion for education, he pursued the Teach For India Fellowship, teaching and nurturing Grade 4 & 5 students.
For over a decade, Aravindhan has been actively volunteering with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), organizing 150+ student and Young Professional activities across India. His contributions have earned him global recognition, including the Richard E. Merwin Student Leadership Scholarship (2014), Continuous Service Award (2019), MGA Larry K. Wilson - Outstanding Asia-Pacific Student Volunteer Award (2016), MGA Young Professionals Achievement Award (2019), and the EAB Meritorious Achievement Award in Pre-University Education (2018).
Aravindhan has been featured in media outlets like NDTV and the New Indian Express - EdEx. He has delivered skill-building and motivational talks at over 50 institutions globally and given TEDx talks on "Championing Our Education System through Contextual Education" and "Making Every Virtual Class Exciting with the AEIOU Model."
Previously, Aravindhan worked with the Fundraising & Communications team at Teach For India - Chennai and currently serves on the Board of Governors for the IEEE Professional Communication Society.
